We started looking at what rare earth elements are today in Room 2 and why they are important. As part of this learning we did some Unmaking, we dismantled a variety of cell phones and NextBooks to have a look at what they were made of.
The slide deck above shows you a few photos of us in action. We are keen to find out more about what's inside our devices and more about the kinds of rare earth elements they contain.

Wow! I love unmaking, we're going to pull apart a computer hard drive and monitor next week but after seeing what you've done I'm going to have a look around and see what else I can find to unmake.
